If you have a service-connected disability that limits your ability to work or prevents you from working, Veteran Readiness and Employment (formerly called Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment) can help. This program—also known as Chapter 31 or VR&E—helps you explore employment options and address education or training needs. In some cases, your family members may also qualify for certain benefits. Our programs are approved for the use of Chapter 31, Veteran Readiness and Employment.
The Post 9/11 GI Bill® provides education benefits that cover a percentage of tuition and fees, depending on how long you have served in the military. Our programs are approved by the State Approving Agency for the use of Veteran Education Benefits including Chapter 33, Chapter 30 MGIB, and Chapter 35 Frye Scholarship.

This is a program for transitioning Service members within 180 days of their expiration of terms of service (ETS). The program is designed to assist soldiers in transitioning to civilian careers by providing opportunities for training and internships. This program helps soldiers obtain industry-recognized credentials and learn job responsibilities, new skills, and industry-specific practices while on active duty. The CSP aims to improve civilian employment options as they prepare to leave military service.
WIOA is landmark legislation that is designed to strengthen and improve our nation’s public workforce system and help get Americans, including youth and those with significant barriers to employment, into high-quality jobs and careers and help employers hire and retain skilled workers. Great Horizons Career Centers are an Eligible Training Provider for the programs listed WIOA Training Providers.

WIOA brings together federal investments in skill development, including adult, dislocated workers, and youth training programs under Title 1; and vocational rehabilitation Under Title 4. We are certified to operate a vocational school by the North Carolina Higher Education Council and can provide training to all consumers. There are multiple ways for you to finance your education and will be able to assist you to find the most appropriate.
